This position is based in El Cajon, CA, but our company operates nationally, particularly in large regional malls.

As a Maintenance Technician, you must understand general building operating systems, construction practices, preventive maintenance tasks, and safety practices. You will ensure all work requests are completed on time and meet quality standards.

To thrive, you should have:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Technical school certifications and/or training are preferred in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, general construction, and safety; 3-5 years of related work experience may substitute for education.
• Ability to use basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, Internet, Email).
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. safely and work efficiently in varying conditions.
• Your responsibilities as the Maintenance Technician for Parkway Plaza will include:
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues, estimating the best course of action.
• Inspect and perform minor repairs on building systems, including fire, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators, flooring, roofing, and more.
• Perform all duties neatly, safely, and orderly while adhering to safety practices and local regulations.
• Collaborate with janitorial staff and other service contractors to complete necessary tasks.
• Communicate effectively with the maintenance team, mall management, and outside contractors.
