As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain chillers, cooling towers, associated pumps, valves, control devices, air handler units, split systems, and package units. Depending on the project, you will perform these tasks as part of a team or independently. In this multi-trade role, you will have the opportunity to learn and become proficient in various trades, ensuring the seamless operation of the facility. Additionally, you will conduct daily inspections and complete required documentation for systems and equipment, including elevators/escalators, fire sprinkler systems, doors, and chiller plant operations, while ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

To thrive, you should have:

• Completed HVAC diploma, industrial maintenance diploma, or HVAC certificate with a strong foundation in HVAC systems and general tool knowledge. Computer literacy is essential.
• A minimum of two to three years of practical HVAC experience, including the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders/scaffolding over 10 feet, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally pushing or pulling up to 75 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with customers, tenants, management, and team members while always maintaining a professional image.
• Willingness to learn multiple trade disciplines and perform tasks across various maintenance areas, including working at heights and using required personal protective equipment.

Your responsibilities as the Maintenance Technician for Crabtree Valley Mall will include:

• Inspect, repair, replace, and calibrate commercial HVAC equipment and associated devices while monitoring and making qualified adjustments to computer-controlled Building Management Systems.
• Perform electrical repairs on systems ranging from 120V to 480V and low-voltage controls, and maintain, clean, and replace fire safety devices.
• Conduct daily inspections of elevators, escalators, and fire sprinkler systems, addressing safety concerns and performing repairs within code allowances, including emergency response for sprinkler flow issues.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain doors, single-ply roofing systems, and other critical building components to ensure functionality and safety.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols, properly storing tools and chemicals, and obtaining aerial and platform lift licenses within 90 days.
