As a Construction Tenant Coordinator, you will oversee tenant construction projects, ensuring compliance with building standards, lease agreements, and timelines while serving as the primary liaison between tenants, property management, and construction teams. You will review plans, coordinate site access, monitor progress, and address any issues to ensure successful project completion. Your ability to manage multiple projects, enforce safety regulations, and maintain clear communication will be essential to this role.

To thrive, you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in tenant coordination, cost estimating, preconstruction, or commercial/retail construction management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project) and familiarity with construction project management tools such as Monday.com are pluses.
• Solid understanding of construction management processes, including site work, architectural considerations, structural components, mechanical and electrical systems, and ADA compliance.
• Ability to evaluate information, analyze problems logically, and develop practical solutions while managing multiple projects within deadlines.

Your responsibilities as the Construction Tenant Coordinator for Crabtree Valley Mall will include:

• Tenant Relations & Communication – Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests while ensuring smooth coordination between tenants, property management, and construction teams.
• Project Coordination & Oversight—Collaborate with contractors, architects, vendors, and internal teams to collaborate on tenant buildouts, remodels, and other construction activities and ensure projects meet lease criteria, schedules, and budgets.
• Construction Compliance & Monitoring – Review and monitor landlord and tenant construction documents, contracts, and schedules to ensure compliance with lease agreements, building codes, and project milestones.
• Reporting & Documentation – Maintain accurate records of tenant correspondence, construction updates, plans, lease-related activities, and project budgets while providing regular progress reports to management.
• Lease & Legal Coordination – Support lease negotiations by defining tenant criteria, work exhibits, and project scopes while ensuring adherence to legal and development requirements.
