MICHAEL MORGAN
Vice President of Portfolio Management

Mr. Morgan is the Vice President of Portfolio Management for Pacific Retail Capital Partners where he oversees the company’s portfolio of retail properties consisting of 11M square feet of gross leasable space across 10 assets nationwide.  Mr. Morgan is responsible for overall property management, property operations, capital expenditure programs, AR collection procedures, as well as employee development at the Property level.  Mr. Morgan joined Pacific Retail in October of 2015 as General Manager at Paseo Nuevo Shops and Restaurants, located in Santa Barbara, California.

Prior to joining Pacific Retail, Michael worked for Caruso Affiliated in Los Angeles where he held multiple management roles including the position of Director of Food and Beverage.  In that position Michael managed, developed and oversaw a portfolio of restaurant operations ranging from fine dining concepts to the development of fast casual services while overseeing a staff of 150 personnel.  During his time with Caruso Affiliated, Michael also held the role of Retail Manager at The Americana at Brand, a 500,000+ SF mixed-use lifestyle center located in Glendale, California,  and was part of the team that was directly responsible for an expansive repositioning of the asset which included the construction of a new Class A Nordstrom, the repositioning of key common area space as well as the build out and launch of multiple national restaurant and retail tenants in a previously undeveloped wing of the property.  Prior to joining Caruso Affiliated, Michael spent considerable time working for numerous hotel companies conducting restaurant development with Chef Kerry Simon where he spent time with Accor North America, LXR Blackstone, and Hard Rock Hotels & Resorts.

Michael is a graduate of University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.  He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.  Michael resides in Venice Beach, California.
